Forgot to add...

Just a quick post because I found something i was looking for that I didnt mention or put in...

In my last post I mentioned about how FF9 had the best music. Everyone has one of those pieces that give you goosebumps. Heres mine....

Ze best. Renaissance is the best.

Get Classical!

I've always been a Final Fantasy fan. I think the older games (With the exception of X and the combat system of 12) that 8 and 9 were the best. And will always remain the best! The storys, characters, were all put together so well. More then anything though, is the music. When you hear a peice of music that gives you goosebumps... Its a feeling I really cant explain.

What i really want to talk about is how specific classical eras have had an influence on the composers of Final Fantasy music, and how they link it in a way that's relevant to the setting of the game. For example, alot of FF9 uses the same aspects of Renaissance.

Anyway I'm a bit ashamed I never picked up on this before. But for my university auditions, I think I know what I'm going to perform. Or something with a similar theme...

Uni Applications... UCAS doesn't help.

Just finished my university choices! Yay! Now unfortunatly, I need to apply for the finance. And this would be so much easier if it all worked! Pisses me off that you pay for a system that doesn't work. You have to pay £21 for more then 1 university choice and there's over half million students applying ever year. You think they could put a little more money into their website budget eh?

So...left to go is Personal Statement, and the joy that is Finance. Its getting a bit depressing.

It will all be worth it though! Especially when Im off my tits, chundering in a bin behind a club and wasting my student loan on excessive amounts of Jaffa Cakes.

Patriotism, flying city's and SNIPER RIFLES?!

F*CK!

Im a huge fan of Bioshock. I can remember playing the first game and it was probably the only game I considered worth the money. A truly epic single player game. So as you can imagine I literally wet my knackers when I heard of the sequel. Expecting it to be way better then the original Bioshock I was partly disappointed by it. But that's not the main topic of this post...

What is the topic is Bioshock: Infinite. I'm really impressed by the trailer. Its a completely different setting, and era. Honestly, I think it looks awesome.

Set in 1912 in a flying fun fair...city...battleship thing. Its hard to try and piece together what's going on from just this, but Im sure the results will be interesting. They've had alot of time to put into this game. According to them in a recent interview they have been working on this since just after the release of the original Bioshock. De Ja Vu though...expect too much and be disappointed.

If you have not seen the trailer yet.... I advise you do so!

House M.D... Poor Start.

So the new series of House M.D has begun and if Im being completely honest I don't think its opening episode was that great. I feel they brought the relationship of House and Cuddy into the drama far too early. They should of at least had maybe a few more seasons. I am happy though Thirteen is no longer in the series. I felt she was a bit of a dead end character.

Also did anyone notice during House's conversation to Cuddy, Hugh Laurie's British accent is noticeable when he pronounces certain words? I cant remember where about it is during the episode, but its defiantly there.

Over the last 6 seasons of House M.D we've seen some really amazing season finales. And they've always been backed up by an amazing opener. Season 6 for example! Broken has to be my favourite House episode. However does anyone really think Season 7 opener was ...great? I feel so far its been a bit of a let down.
